What did you do to your XJ today

Hey I
F no one wants the cb antenna bracket I could use one....... just sayin

Installed my new Chromo's in the front. Had a bit of a problem getting the new hubs on. Put the old hubs on for now to get down the road, since I could seem to get the new ones on:skull1:

I would not paint them yellow :nono:

Just my $.02

McJesse, don't take styling or painting advice from this guy. Two weeks ago his Jeep was completely covered with stickers, except for the hood where he painted a giant cartoon monkey.

I say paint them yellow.

Finally got around to installing my hack and tap on my current wheeler then I snapped the tap in the out put shaft of the 242 any body got one they dont want?

What, a 242 output shaft? I have a partially cannibalized 242 with the shaft uncut and intact, you can have the whole thing if you want to come get it.

I've been thinking about painting them yellow to match my lift and it would stand out alot more and i think it would just look better then black. What do you guys think?
Yeah. Maybe a Yellow Camo look.
Oh I know! Orange!

This is what i found as i took things apart...

Driver side was still barely hangin on. The passenger side however exploded as soon as i loosened up the U-bolts.

I replaced them with grade 8 - 3/8 hex bolts. They actually fit just perfect in the spring perch hole. I didn't even have to round the heads at all. Also replaced all of the U-bolts and torgued them to spec. If this doesn't work then i officially give up...

I drove it! Took it for a beer-run.
