What did you do to your XJ today

Found out my RE 3.5" lift needs a SYE/Driveshaft and shims. Already dropped the transfer case and put 2* shims in, but the driveshaft still binds. Hit a bump and heard a clunk. This lift is going to be the end of me :/

Take that light back and do a H4 swap! Way better. You can do it for the same price as a good pair of stock lights and there's no wires to cut or anything.

It's a SilverStar. He'll be fine. Just gotta get some cheapy HID's to supplement

I had silverstars befor too, H4's are my better. So much so that we did it to both jeeps.

Detailed the holy mess out of it. Nice and clean now. Also put a few coats of paint to my home made quick release mud flaps. Still need to put paint on the brackets I welded on the hitch to hold the flaps.

Heres a quick pic of my bracket. Note: the cutout on the back is for mud, rocks, or debris to be shoved through or hosed out so I have no issues of things getting jammed up.

Luckily that's not the issue, I lost my oil pick-up tube and filter to the gears.

Unplugged the TCU or transmission control unit to see if thats the reason for my tranny shifting like crap and hunting for gears real bad so I now have to test it out. I also decided to do a little checking on things up front for tightness. The steering is currently tore apart, one side was WAY loose. Dont really know how since both nuts were tight. I am going to replace the bolt with a new one but for some danged reason I cant get my misalignment spacers off so its going back on for now till I can spring for some new spacers and a new hiem joint. Oh and I cleaned the air filter to re-oil it after this summers dusty trail runs.

Installed a new starter since I caught FiveNDime's slow cranking issue. The new starter solved that problem.

Also, tossed on some new stickers. I'm hoping my MPG will improve a bit as a result.

Lastly, I hung a new air freshener inside. I was going to go for the "New Car Scent," but settled on the "Peach Tree" instead. :dunno:

To update--my Hiem joint is toast on the passenger side, its squealing like a dying pig now that I freed it up. I put some PB Blaster on it and now I am going to mob around town and annoy people till it stops, or hopefully stops
