put the 1998 non-vacuum disco front end on without axles or steering until it dries up a bit. so that it at least LOOKS like a runner so my landlord stops freakin'. I'll get the new axles and cross over steering on monday from Dave. (glue n tape) I should have taken pics of the swap but I forgot. Being covered in grease and full of beer and pizza didn't help either.

GOT THE NEW JEEP SWAPPED OVER AND BUILT. Didnt get done till it was dark so Ill takes pics tomorrow...

My belt was squealing like a banshee because it has dried out after the shop went haywire with the degreaser when they detailed it. So I rubbed some butter on it and revved it up till it stopped squealing. Now there is the pleasant aroma of popcorn in my Jeep.

Why ?

Yeah cause I didn't have any ATF fluid and I was in a hurry this morning.

Put the first coat of paint on my new track-bar. Noticed I ended up snapping 3 of the four bolts attaching my front shocks to my axle.

Sorry, I didnt paint it because I thought you would end up color matching to the blue you previously had. Why the color change?

Looks good... really good.

I drove mine to work, and noticed my clutch is really weak. It never ends. :thumbdn:

Thanks man. Yea, now I just got to talk the woman into letting me wheel it at Evans next month... I dont know if i will have time to build sliders though.

I'm just putting down a first coat (glad it was bare metal), I need to pic up more of the blue and that paint sticks to other paints better than it does to bare metal. I'll be putting the coat of blue on after my trip to the hardware store. Also feel free to use any of the pictures I took for your stuff.

I have clutch pressure again!

Went off a hunch and replaced the clutch master cylinder. Got it bleed, and wow what a difference. It feels like a brand new clutch.

I was totally expecting to have to drop the tranny on Saturday. :thumbdn:
