What did you do to your XJ today

I discovered the colder weather has provided me with a small exhaust leak....
Goes away after its at operating temp.....
I think its at the joint where the header meets the down pipe. (that lead doughnut thing has shifted....i think)

Pulled off the rear shock until I can get some new upper mounts - either fabb'd or ordered, I don't care which. I just want a solution! Pretty wild the bar pin itself broke in half! Has anyone ever seen that?

Got my Durango steering box in with jcr spacer . Iron rock off-road track bar went in without a problem , looks great can't wait to test it out . It was nice meeting you today NW99XJ, glad to meet some new friends up here in Oregon . Just need to ream the knuckles and put in the jcr 1ton steering kit .

Boring Dave is such a nice guy. (Unless you're his wife, then he's a real jerk)

Just realized I fixed the xj 2 days ago and it has 3/4 of a tank.
I guess I should drive it?

Specially now that I renewed my AAA haha

Thank you again Dave,

we got a lot done. lift, tires.oil leak, axle swap, battery ti down, and CB radio.. very productive weekend.

Tire are not to noisy very mild. seams easier to get to speed and stay there. ride is a little different then stock but not bad at all. turning on the radio cover the sound nicely and don't feel them at all.

Added XJ main leafs as a correction to the drivers side breaking and needing to have both sides even.

After its all said and done it flexes like crap sits at probably 7in of lift in the rear and I want to blow it up.

Now I'm faced with 2 choices, I can either leave it cause I'm not using it again after this next weekend or add some isolators to the front to bring it up a little to even out.

:banghead:
