What did you do to your XJ today

My Jeep's been sitting for the better part of a week.

I stole the gf's car while she's out of town. Been cruisin the '08 Volvo S40 T5........... It's a lot faster then the XJ......... and smoother.......... and quieter.

I'd get bored too quick with that as my main ride though :-) Good change of pace for the week though.

My GF 05 Volvo S60R never gets old.:greensmok

My GF's got a raced out 96 Acura integra and a 2 door Cherokee that's cooler then mine... I'm always driving one or the other.
You guys ever get that 'teg down to PIR on friday nights? Looking to hit the track sometime next month:cheers:

Rocker replacements are starting to take form. I'm quickly learning how crappy it is to weld to sheet metal.

Only got as far as the picture, as it started to rain on me. Hopefully the metal doesn't rust too much when I get back to it in two days.

Looks good Scott!!

we should plan somethin next month. I'll swap on the stock wheels/tires on the 5.9, with its current list of toys, I think it should be in the low 14s.

Yeah, my biggest issue is launching hard off the line-it'll blow em away all the way through the first two gears w/o moving more then 3 feet if I really get after it...and that's NOT wet pavement either.

Got the hi-lift mounted.

Couple bolts and some fender washers thru the side panel

Made a lil "L" bracket and bolted that thru the floor

The handle holder rests against the air tank so it helps keep it snug

Some washers, rubber washers and wing nuts... and Voila !

There is approx 1" between the tailgate and the jack when its closed. Came out really close, but it should also help keep crap from sliding around in the bed.

I limped my to the other end of the parking lot gritting my teeth hoping the motor wouldn't seaze up while closing my eyes as it was knocking the whole way:gonnablow :repair: :banghead:
