what color should i paint my jeep?

Oh man not sure I like the color... It's close though. I can think of several fixes, if you were spraying. Maybe with more coats it will turn out. I was thinking it would look more like this:

Of course that is from House of Kolors I have always wanted to do a project in that color.

its the 1st coat.. the second coat will hopefully look better..
3rd coat will be touchup with paint brush and then i decided on painting a blue line of about an inch down from under the windows from the passanger window to back of hatch.
Then the plan of flat black for roof and sides..

the plan was to not get a shiney jeep but a unique looking xj!

I know it's not supposed to be shiny, I'd personally like a bit more red tint. It will still be a unique Jeep!

very interesting to say the least, i see what you were talking about with the lipstick. kinda looks like a manly mary kay meets prince if he owned an xj... i hope it turns out like you want it too. i am actually very interested in seeing how it turns out with the black and blue added, its got a chance to be very unique and awesome... but its also got a chance to crash and burn... (not the xj itself just the paint job )

well.. like i was saying... your on a sharp peek of a color choice gamble... it could go either way, obviously hope it tips towards Awesome. thats the risk of being different though... hehe as long as you like it is all that matters...

i mean, there are guys out there that like to paint all their suspension parts and even stock skid plates and etc. bright neon safety green LOL i believe they fall to the side of fail! hehe

3 coats of "red cabernet" and 1 coat of flat black on roof and sides..
its still getting paint on it so i wont take a final shot til after the black paint is done and i paint brush the missing sections..
i dig it.. what do you think so far..

The LTB's are going bye bye as well.. im getting some smaller radials to wait..
so it ll stop looking so beast like..
im going up to 35s and 4.5" lift eventually. 4:88 gears and Aussie lockers..

oh.. im getting some Avon Stickers and Avon Edition vinyl stickers.. lol

Stickers are a must! You will like the street-able MT's. Still plenty of offroad ability with a tiny bit more skinny pedal.

Gambit saw the Ugly duckling and liked it!
its nearly done.. i painted the door under the handles and with out me knowing a nice size drip appeared.. Screw it..
its done!
i say that and i ll be sanding it down tomorrow and throwing a coat of paint on it..
Blue line hasn't been painted yet.

Sold my Tires to Gambit... its sitting on some 32" Dueler HL's...
The LTB's will look killer on Gambits MJ!
