What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

Well I got a lot done today in-regards to the paint and body work. Been at it since 4am this morning. I'm beat...

Started off having to replace two body panels. The previous owner decided to install a fence handle on the quarter panel using two 3/4" bolts. Holes were too large to spot weld, so I had to make a filler panel.

Same thing with the PS quarter panel. Huge dent. Too large to pull out. Made a new panel.

Then filled, blocked, washed, and taped...

Primered...now before you give me any shit about the pink...Sherwin Williams didn't add enough red tint to the gray. So now I'm left with this super-manly Pepto color. Awesome. Guess I could sell Mary Kay on the side now. lol

Need to block the primer and then add the topcoat within the next week or two. Long day. Watching the Walking Dead and then passing out.

It'll be nice if you're ever in the middle of BFE hoping for a plane to see you I guess..

I wish I had a nice big clean space to work on things... And a welder... And paint equipment.

Looks like everything came out well.

And you'll never lose it in the parking lot.

****, i didnt even break out the grinder today......waiting on Damian to get my tube notcher shipped this way....****er

PS, we cant all be perfect like you **** face

Simmer down there Car 54...

It's just the primer. The topcoat is so manly that Chuck Norris makes it a sandwich.

Are there any D-Rings that would fit a class 4 hitch? Looking for a solid rear recovery point since I don't have a real bumper yet.

Just use the hitch pin........ Those D-ring inserts are noisy and unnecessary.

Tow straps with hooks are a no-no so if ya got one, throw it away.

My poor neglected Jeep finally got some love!
1. Replaced master window switch. (It is nice to be able to roll down my window again)
2. Both front hubs
3. Pitman arm
4. Drag Link End (at Pitman arm)
5. Finally centered my axle. (it was only out by a tiny amount but it bothered me)
6. Adjusted my Swaybar disconnects which I had neglected to do when I lowered it last year.
7. Greased everything with a zerk.
8. Getting an alignment as I type this!

I had a nasty noisy/vibration at around 70 I though was my front driveshaft but it is gone now. Must have been a hub! It is very smooth now even at 85. (that is fastest I have driven it in years and it was for about 30 seconds)

Things I still need to do:
1. Install new shocks.
2. Change diff. fluid.
3. Fix CB.
4. Wheel it!

Is that a wallpaper border with golden flowers?
