towed 'er home today. My truck HATES towing with the 35's. Definitely looking to drop it back down to the 265's.

No those were part of the trade when I went from 265's to the 315's. We just unbolted wheels and tires, then swapped. Im just gonna pic up some tires from work (yes, finally working again) and maybe some less hideous wheels. But Definitely going to a smaller size. 315's + 3.55's + 5.2 + auto = poop towing. uke:

that poor transmission!

(can I suggest an NV3500 or NV4500 swap, or at least a trans cooler the size of Texas and a shift kit + some 47/48 series trans upgrade parts?)

Ya, it hates me. Luckily i didnt have to go far. And only the second time ive towed with it like that. Gonna be looking at work for some good used to toss on. Even though itll still be a while til I need to tow.

Flushed the heater core today so I have heat again! Well, warm at least. When the RPMS are up it does get kinda toasty.

Haven't driven anywhere yet, but that's the results from the driveway.

Net up, I'm hoping to figure out my wonky steering.

Just run it backwards for a bit? For how long? That wont cause any issues?

I've done it and just left them that way. Swapped on the 5.9 right now

Heat seems to be good now. Went for a short ride last night. Definitely need to flush the whole cooling system again. Looks pretty nasty...

I think running cooler may have an impact at the heater temps at lower RPMs. I put in a nice new rad and this is the first winter with it. Almost never gets all the way up to 210 anymore.

With a big thanks to flores I got the bushing replaced on sister rig track bar. The Death wobble was starting to piss me off. Now I gotta find a reasonable double sheer frame side mount that isnt pushed so far forward like the T&T one. Bleh.

I thought about notching the stock mount and welding some tube, or flat stock, into the notch.

I saw this idea today. I like it enough to copy it...mostly.
