What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

The TRE's I replaced took care of most of it. It still wants to try and wobble but it is not full blown right now. Trac bar joint is loose and I have a JKS bar on the way. Dont feel like dealing with a rod end on the trac bar. So I went with a JKS to get rubber bushings on both ends. Also after the lift my caster Is border line on the high side at 7.7. So I have a set of adjustable upper arms on the way. So I hope the arms and trac bar will take care of the rest. As for the bottle I am not using the ZJ bottle and trying something different.

Order some harder track bar bushing from Kevins, or maybe Frank will share his super secret uber-hard moog bushing part number -- those JKS bushings are crap, and you'll be replacing them in a few months... I speak from experience on that one. :wierd:

my red ones from JKS literally lasted 4 months, and I went wheeling once -- the trac bar was moving nearly a 1/4 inch on both sides, with tight bolts... just poly deflection. Maybe Frank's moogs are cheaper :dunno:

I think it will drive faster now :D

Ouch. Sorry Chad! Major bummer......

Ya tell me about it. Was totaly pissed. But I knew it was going to happen. So it lasted longer then I hoped. After hydrolocking it in Aug it has never ran right and was only a matter of time. O well. Going to get parked for now and engine wil get rebuilt by next summer. Some parts will start flying off for sale :D

nice, did it use the stock pumps and such? Off the shelf at vato zone?

It's a universal coolant bottle. I used the stock pumps. Just drilled the holes, put the rubber gaskets in and used two brackets to mount it. Not my idea but it works. Total invested was 8 bucks for the bottle. Still need to finish the wiring. Left all my electrical stuff at work.
