Damn, I'm actually getting a tax refund this year. I'm so very close to pulling the trigger on the new JCR rear bumper/tire carrier. Any thoughts on alternatives before I make a decision? JCR seems like the best one to me at this point.

I don't have a pic yet but I've got one I'm working on. Integrated lower quarter guards, 2" receiver, and it ties into the hitch bolts too. Next I've got to design the tire carrier.

So in the process of pulling the old box my steering shaft wasn't moving very easy. So I pulled it and was looking at it. Is there anything I can do to get it unstuck?

Steering shafts pre-'97 don't collapse easily like the later ones do. They're meant to give in an accident, but not meant to move otherwise. So, yours isn't stuck, it's as it should be.

I tested the AWD mode on my 242 thanks to a sloppy road behind the local Home Depot. Not quite as fun as the Audi on a snowy road, but it was still fun.

Lmao. Honestly. the only thing that really scares me about death wobble is being on a road with other cars and not knowing web it will start. I know my jeep weighs a lot so whoever or whatever car got in my way would be a pile of scrap after I hit it. Lol
