What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

The stock mounts angle in towards the center of the jeep and his arms are now pointing straight at the axle from the frame rails. So he is flexing the hell out of the bushings just sitting at ride height. It was a pain in the ar$e bolting his lowers in because of it.

X2

Those should work fine Chad, we can always clock them a bit different in needed.

Thats what I thought, Or I could get the brackets with a 10 degree angle, and use them on the opposite sits. IE having the brackets angle out, towards the side of the jeep instead of in

Your arms are setup to go straight at the axle, so that's how you should mount them.

Trimmed the front fenders last weekend. Got tired of seeing the liners on my garage floor. So I decided to hack them up to fit the "new" wheel well.

I also decided to pull the bumper end caps off the front bumper.

nope frank I can move it anymore. I may look at trying to wrap the pipe there. But Im getting new pipes this winter so Ill have them move it over about a inch then try to ad a heat shield

Damage to that joint may already be done anyway..... wouldn't think it'd take much heat to melt that nylon......

Getting the rear axle prepped for re-re-gear and new cross shaft and retainer. still pretty angry i had to find out this way. Gonna strip the axle and pressure wash it tomorrow and hopefully get it painted up all shiny black again.

Got RMS done and oil filter adapter done. Just gotta toss the pan back on and pull valve cover to check for any leaks there. I swear if this bitch still leaks afterwords I don't know what im gonna do. Hopefully I can get it all put back together in a timely manner.

Maybe, but the joint seams ok still. I check everything every day to make sure nothing is wrong. I have talked to ruffstuff myself on the phone about where I placed it and he said it should be ok till I get a new pipe. He said I deff should, and I may have to replace the joint in 6 months or so, but it will last till then he said. It isent going to explode just because of the heat.
