Over all it turned out great I think. And im happy with it. All that matters. Here at hide height. The axle has been pushed forward 2in almost. And The lowers ended up being 28" long. Which isent to bad. Plus I gained ground over the drop brackets. Once I build the belly skid, I will have a smooth travel from the arms to the belly for rocks :D

NOW onto building the rear 4 link set up. YAY! Should be sweet!!!

Cool man, glad you're happy with it and that I could help out a bit.

My jeep keeps shedding sheetmetal, I hope its not sick. :D

put stock shackles back on my heep today, also RE-did the ujoints on my rear driveshaft... dont forget the zerk, it will fling the grease out and make your ujoints scream. jeep sits nice and level now though

cleaned out the front tank fuel system on the stomper (seriously disgusting varnish), cleaned the carb and filters, and got the 460 fired up. Installed the rear driveshaft (2wd is much more pleasant than FWD with a detroit), and wired up some taillights... tires this weekend.

Well you dident do much help. Mostly stood around laughin and pointing fingers at me :D

I think with the rear link Ill stretch it a little, so I can have about a 3-4" longer wheelbase.

Ya I think its sick. Sick of you messing with it

Dud those lowers are so heavy I won't be surprised he walks out to his Jeep one mornng and finds that their weight alone manages to rip the stock lower control arm brackets off hi axle.

Hurry up and get those new ones ordered Chad, you're more than welcome to use my 220 again.

Cut my fenders and installed TJ fender flares. Putting in 33x12.50's next week and needed the room.

Going to paint over the original turn signals with factory flame red since I'm using the flares' lights.

Looks great Chad.

Thanks Mike!

Aw man! I want one of those. Maybe Ill swing by and steel it off your jeep for mine

Looks good Chad! Can't wait to see it in action and not just climbing over my jeep :D
Those links are beefy!

Its a mall crawler remember. It likes crawling over jeeps

Ya Im going to. When it flexed out, o man it dosent like it at all. The bushing inside twists and turnes and looks real nasty. They could rip out real easy on the trail.

These were what I was thinking

But There not angled down as much as stock ones, so I think they would stretch the jeep even more lol. I dont know. What do you think? YOu think they would be ok and we could make them work?

Chad. Why dont you get some 1/4" plate and cut some brackets to weld and box your stock mounts?

Cheap, easy, strong

The stock mounts angle in towards the center of the jeep and his arms are now pointing straight at the axle from the frame rails. So he is flexing the hell out of the bushings just sitting at ride height. It was a pain in the ar$e bolting his lowers in because of it.

Those should work fine Chad, we can always clock them a bit different in needed.
