What are you doing to your rig - the continuing saga

Rockwells are sweet if you're going to run 46+ tires and then you'll need to dump parts into them to replace their weak points .

No need for 46+ tires for this cat, 37's are where its at for me. :greensmok

Well as of Sunday my 1990 XJ with a Rusty's 6.5" lift sitting on 33x1250R15 seemed scary to drive. I noticed the right front wheel is almost out of my wheel well, and as for the left wheel its barely sticking out. My normal measurement is roughly 5" out of wheel well now the front right is at 8.5" and the left is at 3". The whole front end looks in distress. i have no clue the extent of all the damage and am stumped as where to even begin. I spent a good few hours under there to try to figure out what came loose, fell off, or busted, I noticed an insane gap at the top of my pitman arm. I tightened this, but it still looks different from where its supposed to be. I'm sure that an adjustment on my track bar will help with the wheel issue. But should I just take it in for an alignment first and foremost? Because at visual inspection of the front end parts they seem fine, but tweaked a bit. I would apprieciate all the help in this matter.

Definitely center the axle using the track bar before any alignment

Just picked up a set of 5 moabs off a "black ops" rig for cheap. Either tossing em on sisters rig or brothers wk.

So my 30/8.8 should be plenty for 37's your saying.

Well I like to do both, but one more than the other. :D

If you are a heavy throttle user a 30 is not going to last on 37s, and depending on how many kilodollars you want to spend may not last with a 44 either. I understand you guys have less muddy rocks and more fun rocks but a 30 with 37s is really really pushing it, especially with snow.

1 I don't snow wheel, ever... Chop top
2 I've been throttle happy and bounced my rig up rocks
Besides rcv's my thirty is on full bling
3 I'm not throttle happy very often

Are you running chromo's in your 30?
