I think it's a hanging roller coaster, so the tracks are suspended from pillars and the cars hang underneath. He wouldn't have to stand up in the tracks to get hit.(NO I.m not excusing it. It was beyond stupid).

It reminds me of a death a few years ago at a drop zone. A young woman took an observer's flight. Back on the ground she realized she left her hat(again with the hats!) in the plane. Ran around 2 people trying to stop her, and right into a spinning prop.

Darwin does not operate in mysterious ways, but lawyers and juries sure do.

The DZ lost the lawsuit.

I'd ask how the victim's heirs and assigns managed to benefit from her idiocy, but I'm sure I won't like the answer. Juries seem to be getting dumber all the time...

Yah. I'd heard somewhere that they were working on another one. If they are, I hope the brink Kato back (with Jackie Chan playing Kato - like they'd originally thought...)

This reminds me of the story a couple months ago about the two girls that got ran over by a train while sunbathing on the tracks.

that little incident happened just south of me, i was trying to figure out how it would even be comfortable to lay on the tracks, nevermind fall asleep. one lost her foot and the other lost her leg from the knee down, im glad neither died but they have to live the rest of their lies with handicaps becasue they lacked common sense

There was the KC Chiefs LB who was killed when he was ejected from his rolling Suburban because he wasn't wearing seatbelt while driving drunk at excessive speeds. His mom tried to sue GM for upwards of $100,000,000.00. The court threw out her case. But there's been way more cases of idiots suffering from their own idiocy getting idiotically huge payouts.

GM came in and showed how the vehcile met all regulations for roof crush standards even though by its GVWR it was not required to even try to meet the standards. Then factoring in the deceased's level of intoxication and decision not to wear his seat belt, they got the case thrown out.
