Sorry Kurt but I gotta post emm. Kurt went threw, well not quite, what he thought was drier mud and well didn't quite make it. And then picks of me on the RTI ramp (pole) sorry bout pic quality they where taken with my phone
Well that "mud" was pretty much dry all around my XJ. I mean we were walking on it and everything. I just went in just the wrong place. Went I got pulled out my rear tire came up out of the mud and then went into the hole my front made. A 2WD exploder went about 10 feet over from where I was stuck at and he didn't even sink at all.
Well on the other side... We were driving where muddy holes that Jay and I have seen swallow XJs whole used to be.... So how was I going to know that the "dry" area I was going to drive through was not all that dry? Plus it was so dry and sandy there today that trails I have made before I could not get the traction to make it up them and when I hit my brakes I would just slide back down... Kinda sucked but oh well I need lockers.
But it just goes to show you how "well" that place is marked and layed out.
