After a year of mulling over this I have finally decided to go to a long arm set up. I weighed the option of going with drop brackets but finally said screw it and ordered a Rock Krawler set up today. Can't wait to get it on since sitting at about 5" on shorts has been pretty brutal on the road. I know it has beat u joints and hubs so im doing it!

Where you guys going Sunday? I may try to make it down to the 3000 line on Saturday with Sawedoff from PNW but both might not be feesable.

Headed to Jacks Pass on highway 2. meeting at the Dutch Cup in Sultan at 9:00am

They will be shipped on the 8th which is kind of aggravating since I ordered them on the 24th but hey, thats about normal with many companies I have delt with this year ordering stuff. Sawedoff knows how it took me 3 weeks to just FIND my lost spring pack from Rusty's. I'm not going to get them on until after X-mas i'm guessing but thats cool. Once I do get them on I will do a write up. I'm actually looking for limiting straps now since I know I will need them. Also 33s but thats a whole different story.

I still get to help /w the install?

Yeah John...i'll PM you on PNW and we will figure out a good time to do it. I still have your shopping list to and i'm going to try to track it down tomorrow.

Hey,

I just put the longarms on and this weekend had problems with the coils popping out. I was wondering if you had any ideas of the best way to add limiting straps. My boyfriend and I are brainstorming and trying to figure our the best way to mount them. Any ideas?

Also, I noticed that you guys are from Lynden, we are thinking about moving to that area, any good wheeling?? Also, my parents are just moving to Ferndale. Are there any 4-wheel drive clubs up there that he can check out?

Gimme a call if you need some help.

How ya doing, Amy? Where are you in Santa Cruz? I lived in Soquel, near the highschool, for three years and moved back home here to Washington. Very Beautiful country down there (my son likes it so much he stayed there) but it's REALLY expensive! We got really BORED with Hollister after a while and there's not many other places down your way left.... Loma Prieta? >*YAWN*<

You can always bring your parents along to wheel with us as your guests if they don't have XJs. My Friend Davis has a Rubicon and has been on a few trips and My stepson has a Scrambler that he takes with us. We won't give them TOO bad of a time no matter WHAT they drive (Well... maybe if they drive a Samari ;) ).

Read through the NorthWest Chapter (including the history) and see for yourself... there's lots of pictures and this is a great group to wheel with. Let us know when you get relocated and we will make sure to get you transferred from California to the NWC.

We have a few events coming up in the near future that are going to be a LOT of fun.

With best regards,
Mark

I live in Lynden and work in Ferndale. This is a very beautiful area. Your parents will be happy.
And about wheeling, what Matt said. There are a few local places, but most(20) are about 1-4 hours away.

As far as clubs, Timber Tamers, Rainer Ridge Rams, Snort, and NAXJA The Northwest Edition.
