Welding from an oven outlet

My oven uses a Nema 14-50 with a 40 amp breaker.

My lincoln 180c uses Nema 6-50 and recommends a 40 amp breaker

Is there anything wrong with using an adapter and a welder extension cord to run it from my oven to my garage?

I know this is ghetto but I'm in a rental and I don't want to blow money on an electrician for the owner.

There is nothing wrong with it as long as you use the correct gauge wire, I used my dryer outlet for a long tire till I wired the shop for 220v
