Most of the entrances to Saddleback are closed still due to washout. ;)

Not according to the NF website.

Unfortunately I will be unable to attend. Sometimes work really sucks.

Jeff which parking are you going to be in?

Okay, I wasn't gonna say anything, but...

I was talking to Remi and Grant about this last weekend. It is my opinion that we should keep a low profile. We should just attend the funeral, and pay our respects to Mike and to his family in a dignified manner.

There's no need for a grand Jeep procession. Nobody knows how the family would react to such a display. And please, no NAXJA t-shirts. :)

It just reminds me of the last funeral I attended. Some people took it upon themselves to do a vehicular parade and ended up looking like a bunch of yahoos in the eyes of the deceased's family and friends.

Again, it's just my opinion. I'll see you all there.

I agree that that tshirt idea was bad (and I"ll take a blame for it), but pulling in as a group isn't bad. We are a group of friends that are showing up to pay respect. Just make sure your exhaust doesn't sound like it's missing or that you're peeling out. My $0.02

ur right about the jeeps "parading" in. Good, now im going to feel like a moron. But then again his family might think its cool that his friends showed up in general.

when you drive it... and you see the flag poles, make a right. (by the new library)
