The way I read it deer valley is open from both hwy4 and hwy88 but only up to the meadow, until the enviromental study that the forest service is doing is complete. So you cant go all the way though. :gonnablow

we can run it from both sides and get a good look at the last known endangered alpine meadow, or the scientific name e fullovus bolognaous

Why wouldn't you make it? Bring your jeep on stock axles and 35s and wheel it til your hearts content.
