Wanted: rear xj dana 44 or c8.25

Been trolling for a while, but decided to just go ahead and post. hopefully someone out there has what i need. looking for a rear xj dana 44 or chrysler 8.25. stupid dana 35 wont cut it anymore. I live in joliet, il and am willing to travel up to 100 miles to pick up. looking to spend around 200-400dollars.

I have a c8.25 out of a 99 with 7" antiwrap spring perches welded on. No shock mounts and needs pinion bearings. Has 3.55 gears. $50.00

C8.25 out of a 92, 3.55 gears, all sound to the best of my knowledge.

I'll be travelling through the Chicago area late on Wednesday, 12/31, returning either Friday or Saturday no later than noon.

Oops.... almost forgot. One of the shock mounts got torched during the disassembly accidently, and I don't have the means to repair it here.

There is a guy local to me (down in Springfield) selling a good condition ford 8.8 out of an explorer, 3.55 gears disc brakes.


He wanted $150, but you might be able to talk him down. Would be a worthwhile upgrade. I found it on the local craigslist last week, but he might have put it on ebay now.
