pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

:D

Should have it all now, I think I tried to send it all at once. The pics are huge.

Gil,
I found another Grand Waggy today just outta town.
Stopped and looked but didn't have the camera.
It was mint, paint in good shape, no rust on the rockers, very light underbody rust.
I got the phone number, I'll try and get pictures today.
When I saw it I said "oooo" and my wife told me no.

Keep in mind...the FSJ are only reccomneded for towing up to 5000 Lbs. I know that sounds light and they COULD tow more....but there it is.

I doubt Skanky is anywhere near that weight anymore...

She can lose more weight if need be.

:D

you'd be suprised... :D

curb weight on a stock XJ is about 2950...

Mine weighed 4350... and I dont think ive really packed on the unnecessary pounds...

skid plates, rock rails, front bumper, 1/2tons, tools, gas and spares... I guess add up?

On top of the weight of your Jeep, you also need to keep in mine the weight of the trailer you are pulling. My trailer weighs in at 1400 lbs.

My trailer weighs in at around 3500 lbs.
The XJ is a little over 5300.
Turning my tow-bitch sights towards a Peterbuilt.

Gil -

I haven't met you, but Lawn Cher' has and BOB is driving my previous truck and I think has been pretty happy with it :-) I've got the '89 MJ for sale here: http://www.johnpinnell.com/89mj.html

It's a solid truck and I planned to keep it forever as a weekend DD. Life's changed and as a result I don't have the time to toy with the MJ and I needed a bigger truck since we moved to the country place so the MJ is selling for MUCH less than I have in it.

It has no rust to speak of, I put a 2" lift on it with 31s, and swapped in a non-disconnect D30 and a D44 both geared at 3:55 which is about ideal. I put new springs front and back, new Rancho shocks, extended brake hoses, new battery and cables, fixed and charged the AC. Lots of things I'm forgetting, read the ad above for full details. I've also got lots of other goodies available I aquired but hadn't installed yet.

It really would make a nice DD.

My `87 XJ Waggy will be for sale within a week or so,I have to swap the suspension back to stock first though. Its dependable, and runs pretty good. Will only want about $600 outta it cause the suspension from the "new" XJ is going on it,and parts are kinda worn.
