Look for early 80's Waggy's, and late 70's Ford F-250s. They both have driver's side diff. The F-250 would be a high pinion Dana 44 diff, too.

I have a 79 f150 dana 44HP that I have on my XJ right now. Is complete and running. It is full width but would almost be a 'bolt on'. I havnt thought about selling, but If I can get a 1ton then why not! Shoot me an offer...Its got gears and a spool, brand new calipers, pads, all bearing replaces, all seals replaces, new 'c' bushings, beasically the whole thing is new
