Wanted: Discount windshield installation

Water world is a few blocks to the north that could kill some hours. O YA BOY WATER WORLD M & G.

Just gotta get rid of the fuzzy shirt first hahahaha.

Hey, I'm all for a M&G where we all drop our XJ's off at Jason's shop on say a Saturday and head over to a Chili's or the like to eat/chat until they're done.

If Jason wants to get advanced deposits on the windshields and schedule a date, let's look into it! Billroy?????

I need a '96 with the gasket.

Wish his shop was closer...... dunno if the discount is good enough to justify the gas expense, but if a group is doing it and it helps out a local "little guy" shop, I'm in.

Too bad the quarterly meeting is scheduled to be in the 'Springs this time... coulda killed 2 birds with one stone! :D

fatty don't do water world.
I'm in for saturday. I think my junk will make it up there and back and troy can bring a cooling fan for me if he has one...

Talked to Jason again earlier and he said to ask for him directly. He said he would tell Ray about you guys but still would probably be better to talk to him directly.

Basically it's up to guys you can either do them all at 1 time or schedule seperate appts. They are open Saturdays and there is not much to do in the area. Waterworld should be open this weekend I think and Babes is directly in front of our shop. Oh and Platinum 84 is next door as well (strip club) but I don't know much about them or times they are open. Or you can always relax in our waiting room. Other than those there's not much around real close.

If coming to Federal Heights is really inconvient talk to Jason I'm sure he will still cut you a better deal than anyone else and you can have it done in the comforts of your home or work.

But once again like I tell all my customers it is up to you, whatever is more convient for you. Call Jason and work it out with him and if you need anything else call me directly.

why, i still need a windshield dag nabbit. whats the word on the group rate dealio

I don't see why it died, the price Jason qouted me was per person so there really is no need for group buy. Unless you all really want to get together and have them all done at the same time. If thats the case set up a date and time and give Jason a call to schedule it in. If not call Jason seperately and set something up. The price will still be good as long as you said Shawn recommeneded them. You will have to bring your vehicle up to our shop for that price obvisously, If that is inconvient call Jason about them coming to you I am sure he will still be more than fair.

Well, it turns out my original windshield guy is willing to cut a nice cash deal after all. I had been getting my glass on the cheap working a trade exchange kinda thing through my parent's business and his shop, but he's gonna do my windshield for $175 with the rubber gasket. American made glass too - not Chinese. They do nice work and I'd rather not drive all over town to find a new shop.

He's much closer to me than Billroy's friend's shop so it makes more sense for me to go this route - but you north guys should definitely take him up on that $160 deal!

Definitely tell him Troy referred you if you call him. $175 is an in shop price, he can't do that with mobile service - certainly understandable. Also, the gasket price he said was $30, so take that off if you're installing one in a pre '95 XJ. OR....... you can get rid of that crappy trim and have it installed with the rubber. Looks much better. All ya gotta do is remove the trim, use a hammer and screwdriver to knock off the clip studs in the channel so the gasket will fit.
