WANTED: 97 TCM/TCU

I need a transmission control unit / module for a 97 xj. It's 2wd, not sure if that would be a factor in finding the right one. I know a 00 plug is different.
Let me know what you got, or if there is one in a pull a part near you, I would cover time and shipping. I'm sure it would be cheaper than the $294 the parts store wants...

Yup. From what I remember, 97's work on 97's, 98-99 are interchangeable, and I think 00-01 are interchangeable as well.

That goes for pretty much everything electrical from TCU's to overhead console harnesses.

Looks like it is for a 1998, sorry. #56041386AA I am in the same situation if my 1997 TCM ever dies.

The local LKQ has a 1997 automatic sitting on their lot. Want me to go look at it? If I can get it would probably be around $50.
