Woa, really?!? I didn't encounter that. That's even worse. It would be an interesting study as to why the XJ market is so messed up in SoCal.

I found a nice looking xj yesterday, and I pulled the oil cap off. Nice pretty milky white oil.
The owner said he had aftermarket oil installed to get 30 mph. That's why it's white. Oh man.

How bout this....1991, 210k miles, auto, custom front bumper, roof rack, d44 front and rear, 456 gears, air lockers, 5" lift, 33" tires....What should it bring? Very high mileage though.

2500-3k? mileage dont matter.

Seller's probably asking $4,500, but I'd say it should be right around 3...probably a bit less. Don't worry much about mileage.
