I was offered two jobs today after moving from New Mexico to SLC Utah, took the lower wage job because I looks like it will be a little better in terms of workload, interesting work and time off during hunting season!

so anyway, I'll be designing wastewater treatment system for small towns throughout the mountain west, so every time you Utah, Idaho, Nevada, New Mex small-townites take a crap, no wait, don't think of me, lol.

the other job was with a very large engineering firm (global wide, not just kinda large) and that was a main consideration, I like the more personal feel. Looks like I'll be putting some miles on the XJ now! No more bike-commuting to grad school! lol.

Thanks all- first day at work today and I got to do real stuff, like try to work the phone (still doesn't work), log onto the computer (maybe tomorrow) and find my desk. 1 out of 3 aint bad, lol. This is my first "engineering" job, I was doing a lot of related research in New Mexico, but never dealt with actual designs that would ever be used.

Not really sure where the line is, I'm still a grad student in the Civil/Environmental college doing a lot of both. If it's an easy question I *might* be able to help, lol.

JXEEPER- I'm not at Westech, I working for Aqua Engineering up in bountiful, but I know a few people who work at Westech. We have several of their catalogs around the office that I saw today though!
