Volvo control arm. NEED HELP!!

don't be afraid to put some real force into moving the whole assembly that the rotor is mounted to. make sure you have the vehicle properly secured, and get a friend to help you man-handle that crap back together. it is actually really easy to take apart and put back together. but by easy i don't mean that you can move it with 1 hand. get a jack stand under the vehicle securely, and then use the jack to slightly move the assembly up and down until you can man-handle everything back together. there really isn't anything to it other than force.

Sorry i didnt check sooner. Did you get it fixed? How i would do it is let the floor jack down and get it out of the way, Turn the rotor and see if the halfshaft turns with it if it dosent than you know that it popped out you kinda have to do this blind, because you cant see inside the boot closest to the rotor. if it did pop out you have to line it up blindly and pop it back in. good luck hope this helps.

in the first pic it looks like you are jacking it up by the rotor?

did you try jacking it by the frame like someone mentioned?

get it back together?

It was up in the air by the frame. That was just compressing the strut a little. I finally did get it. With the help of two guys named anthony. The reason I got it is because one of the anthony's owns an Import shop and he just so happens to be my best friends dad. Tonight was the only night he could make it over here. Thanks for all your guys help, everything you told me is what we ended up doing, and yes the half shaft ended up falling completly out :D . THANKS SO MUCH
