VA Beach trip, need some help

I am going to have my jeep up and running for the first time since I left for the army, and I wanna take my little sister to VA Beach sometime in the last 2 weekends of august or the 1st weekend in sept. Does anyone know of any riding trips in that area or shows? I wanna spend some time on the beach and some time wheeling, any help will be appreciated.

only "wheeling" that I know of around here (legally) is beach wheeling in N.C.

There are a few private land spots where you can go "muddin'" but I'm not very hip on the whole "mud scene" You're probably closer to decent trails where you are than you would be down here-- 'course the beach is definitely better here :wave1:

If you find anything in the area, post it up-- I'm always up for a local run!!

The wheeling is in the western part of the state I believe. GWNF and I think there are a few others. Maybe xjtrailrider will chime in.

yep your not gonna get to far on the sand here, corava is just south of the state line and thats all legal to beach cruise there....... but seeing how you prob have base stickers on your rig, there is fort story that has some sand trails, the area is kinda limited in size though

you should hit up some va beach people before you head out and maybe a couple of us could go get some beeers while your in town :dunno: just a thought
