Ok URE opens in a month. Lets kick around dates to go up there for a meet and greet. Who is up for it and what dates are best for you? I'm liking late April or or early May.

What kinda fishing? You want to fish I got all kinds of access to private ponds to fish in.

My crew and I will be there April 8-10th, the majority of us wheel XJ's, we will be camping at the Uwharrie Stables which makes it a little more private, and also its a large open field where we can set up camp and a big ol bon fire and have a few beers without have to worry about getting a ticket.

My crew set that date 2 months ago, so there are already alot of us going 100%

I gotta call Johnny Adams this week and give him my credit card for the reservation though. Primitive camping is $5 a night on his land if you were so inclined, it is about 1/4 mile from the entrance of URE National Forest.

Our Uwharrie Trip will actually be used as our monthly club meet and greet, so I am expecting a big turnout, hoping for no chaos. Heres our fb event for the trip.

I recommend Arrowhead camp ground. If I don't just come for the day that is where I will be staying. Cheap and full facilities.

Yeah I love arrowhead but because of the size of our group, and that we tend to make a big bon fire and have a few adult beverages in the evening, Johnnys is a good gig for us.

Have not been able to get back to the jeep. I have a couple things I thought would be done by now. So me getting this together and being there is looking a little less likely. Still looking to see who all would be willing to do a run on Saturday and put some names to some faces.

The 9th will be packed, Carolina Trailblazers will be there, TTJ Will be there, and supposedly 2 other clubs. If yall decide to ride up though, we could definately grab lunch from Terry and shoot the shit
