YEA, WHEN I WAS WORKING AT FORD WE HAD A GUY WHO ONLY TOOK CLASSES AT OUT COMMUNITY COLLEGE. HE HAD THE JOB, BUT HE SUCKED AS A MECHANIC. THE REST WERE ALL UTI GRADS.

i went to UTI in IL....i graduated in 03....i dident know that they dont ase certify you...thats something you do on your own...they text books suck....they werent even text books...they give you a binder and then give you lil packets...and in class they dident have enough tools for each group....
personally i would have rather of gone to a community college...they local one here had awsome text books and way cheaper 6k-8k and uti is 18k-24k.
job placement was the jobs in the newspaper....they dont have special jobs or anything...what you find out in the street/paper is what you get...its like applying on your own...nothing special

Yeah man.. It's even better in California cause tuition is only 20 bucks a unit... So your looking at maybe 1k at the most for tuition to get a certificate or 2500 for an AS degree...

yea, you can learn alot if you get into the right cc, and in uti, no matter where you are, if you dont try, you will not learn, you have to try. there is always the jackass that says he knows it all. fuck him. and listen to the teacher.
go to your cc and talk to a counsler there about there auto program. then talk to a rep from uti. have them come to your house. then make up your mind. it's up to you.

When the uti rep came to my house he came with a cool car....some hats and shirts posters books.....talked it up and yea....lies!!!!!!

Yeah those UTI reps will sell you the world as long as you agree to pay $28k for their school
