User name change

I'd like to change my user name and erase the stuff in the user CP profile. Would it be easier to delete this account and to re-register?

Okay, you're all set.

You'll need to log off and restart your computer. When you log back on, use your new screen name and use the password 0001. When you get logged on, you can change the password to whatever you want.

It didn't work. I tried signing on with Zuki-Ron and pass 0001 and it rejected me.

I did. I logged off, went into internet options and deleted both all off-line content and cookies, then rebooted. Should I try again?

I re-tried all the steps, and it was a no-go.
Thanks for the effort!
What I ended up doing was generating a new log-in by registering again.
When Forum Fixer gets a chance, perhaps he can delete this profile.

Edit: Nevermind.

No, I will delete the new one, and change your old username. Simply deleting a user that has posts on the forums makes a mess of things. Have some patience when requesting that somebody change your name for you next time.
