Urine Test????

Negative! A piss test is cheap and expedient. Hair sampling is more accurate. I was a defense witness in a court martial over a whiz-quiz gone awry. NFI. I have learned more about sampling (urine, blood and hair) than I ever wanted to know.

It would seem that urinalysis is still fairly accurate. I never knew anyone in the Marine Corps to pop without expecting it, and at my last unit they tested every month "randomly".

Agreed. Most know as soon as they are handed the bottle that the gig is up. That court martial made it a lot easier for me to walk away after 35 years. (AD/RES/AD). The man denied it, was court martial and found guilty. I was tested at the same time, (why I was a witness) I believed that he was innocent and still do.

I'm not saying that there isn't a place for drug testing, but it should be top-down, as all leadership is.

Yella, I'll agree with you on many points - especially when you say you can't understand why people NEED substances to get by w/ everyday life....I don't get it either. Is your life that pathetic that you NEED to smoke/snort/shoot/swallow something to make it better? Sad...
