URF rocks...

My rear axle housing is severely bent, twisted, and the ring gear is broken.
In other words, I'm building a new rear axle. ;)

Is it bad when you have to work a 12 pound slide hammer, for a LONG time, just to slide the axle out:

And the axle is not bent and it has good splines:

URF Canyon is the hardist trail I have driven my junk in...

After running it again last Friday I'd say it probably the hardest trail I've run too. It's gotten super torn up and dug out by buggies with 40s.
Once we got to Area URF we were greeted by a cold wind and chilly temps.
On Thursday morning we got Craig to try a trail we had called Three Hoes. He drove the first Hoe and named it Andi but couldn't get up the second Hoe...

...he ended up backing out and backing down on Andi.
Turned out to be a beutiful day althoug a little chilly...

We then headed over to Schizo, I had walked this trail a couple of times but had never ran it in my rig. Definately a hard one when Matt pulls a retard move right away...

There are numerous steep climbs and boulder fields on the trail but unfortunately I really didn't get any pics because we were making good time and I knew the end climb would be hard.

The next day we headed over to URF Canyon and this is probably the hardest trail I've run so far. It wasn't too bad last year when I ran it but all the buggies on 40s have been digging holes and making it more difficult.

Amazing pics guys!!! Thanks for sharing.

Pics from last week in Area URF.
We started out on Snake Bait and I was finally able to drive the first waterfall, although it did cost me a sticker...

:D
The trail does have a return road but now we run it all the way up to that saddle...

A couple days later we broke a new trail called Army Ant. Here's Andy heading in the "gate keeper" that leads to what we call the "Ant Hill", five or six trails that all lead to the same ridgeline.
