Upgraded axles - donor vehicle list?

Does anyone have a handy dandy list of what donor vehicles have axles that are commonly used in XJs?

Unless you are going big dog, I think it is pretty much the 8.8 and the D44.

A list must exist that has the axles from which make/model/year - of the common (8.8/D44) and big dog axles.

There is an axle guide on here. Crunch or Crash did it. IIRC it's a stickey in the FAQ section.

1995 to 2001 Ford Explorers - 8.8
1987 to 1990 Jeep Cherokees - D44
1991 to 2001 Jeep Cherokees - 8.25 Chryco axle (1997 to 2001 preferred with 29 spline)
