yep... rotten intank fuel pump hose! upon discovering I had an Airtex pump, I went ahead and upgraded to the Bosch which came with a new hose!
PIA fuel pump replacement later, runs like a champ! I can't even hear the Bosch pump which is unnerving considering the Airtex was louder than my running engine!
I learned to check the basics even if you are sure you have fuel/air/spark!
