Underhood Lamp

I have a '96 XJ. Pulled an underhood lamp fixture from a '91 XJ at the local junkyard. My wiring harness has the unused plug that matches up to the fixture's plug.

Ok...... How do I switch it on? Is there some fuse I need to put in the fuse block or what?

There is a switch inside the lamp cord housing. Most likely its a mercury switch and it turns on when tilted (hood is opened).
