Wow, What a great turn out, I'm sorry I couldnt make it. I talked to a DNR ranger at Walker today. She said you guys pulled two huge dumpsters worth of stuff out of there, Great work!!!!

Heck we worked so hard, I took some of the trash home with me! KarlVP was maning the dumpsters and snaged an XJ front bumper for me that someone had collected. Brought it home with me incase I ever need it, It's even got the end caps on it!

I just want to chime in here and thank EVERYONE that participated in the cleanup. If you don't know we filled that dumpster to the brim with trash. Retrieved about 40 tires from the woods, a refridgerator, a couple TV's and some other assorted electronics.

Not to mention pretty much a whole XJ body kit, assorted metal and that van that Hip, Crusty, and Greg drug out.

You all did a fantastic job. I would also like to thank the waste management guys and gals. They were just there to run the dumpsters and heavy equipment but they were out using thier PERSONAL vehicles to help us clean up Reiter Trails. Kudos to those guys, next time you see them buy them a beer.

Also thanks to Ed and Katie Tenney and the Timber Tamers for bringing the grille and cooking. Thanks also to Ann T. and Kelly (Broncochick) for getting us the food. Also thanks to all the donations that came in for not only food, but Mrs. C's co-worker who has suffered a tragic loss.

Finally, thanks again to everyone who came, donated money, time, and effort. You all did a kick ass job and we got A LOT of work done. It is efforts like this that keep our trails open.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

There's one just of Isabel I believe callled "danger" or some such thing. Karl was saying yesterday that he went about 10 feet down it and turned back. And if you have ever seen Karl's rig you know he doesn't turn back lightly.

As for a run, I'm up for it. I only live an hour from Reiter (im in Kirkland) so any time people are up for it I'm game. Back door and Stack-up are usually what we run with diverse groups, they have some good obsticles, but everything has a by-pass so the little guys can make it through also. Thats what makes Isabel so much harder, there's not really any by-passes so if your open-open and on 31" you can't take a by-pass and keep going.

Yeah, that trail is called the "Trail of Doom" pretty much it has two "goalpost" trees you have to squeeze your rig through. Put easily, if you are in a CJ or Wrangler body style, there go your fender flares, mirrors and you will have creased your hood pretty well. XJ? Kiss your mirrors and door handles goodbye. That is just the entrance to the trail.

There is also a trail called "The Bonus Line" that is not for the timid. Body damage very likely.

Fifo and I would love to lead a run in the coming days. My rig will be back on all fours by this Friday and it will be ready for more beatings.

Great pics, good turnout!

This place on the powerlines is the same spot I flopped, although mine was in the SNOW. Do some searching on SNORT or NW-Wheelers and you can find pics of at least 6 other rigs flopping/rolling in the exact same spot, it's VERY deceiving.
