Sounds like the vehicles need to have some sort of internet connectivity to make the hack these guys discovered work, it's an easy fix if you're looking at a new car that has the potenetial to get hacked.............just don't get the internet service in the vehicle and it shouldn't be affected.
This, although there is a guy bitching up a storm on the Chrysler 200 owners forum over this.......claiming that he'll sue FCA and the hackers if his '15 200 gets hacked and generally getting all drama queen-like on the matter.........I told him if he keeps it up, we may have to buy him a Snickers:laugh3:
