U-joint failed need help

Lost the u-joint out of 1997 XJ with Chyr 8.25, It is 2wd with 33 inch tires, are there other option other than OEM size?

Not without changing the yokes...

Take a close look at the differential yoke and pinion, at full compression I´ve crushed the collapsible sleeve a touch on the 8.25, the pinion gets pretty loose. Could be what jammed and popped your U-joint.
