TW driveshaft -- How far extended when installed?

Dropped off parts at the garage yesterday and looked under the XJ at the newly installed TW double-cardan driveshaft...

It appeared to have at least six inches (or more) of spline showing while just sitting in the parking lot.

That doesn't seem right to me.

Thoughts?

Mine has 3" of spline showing. You should email or call TW and ask them. Re-measure before you call as they will probably ask what the measurement from yoke to yoke is. His website has the details on how to measure.

There x spline has 6in of usable travel. They make them centered in that travel so it sounds like it's a couple inches short. Still runable but right on the edge
