They work really well, but only if you upgrade the flux capacitor so it can handle the extra HP.

Does anyone know of an electical supercharger that actually produces considerable boost? If they make electical waterpumps you think they could make a supercharger that isnt belt driven.

I dont know much about blowers, BUT from what I understand, they take a HUGE amount of power to turn... Top Fuel blowers take something like 400 horsepower just to turn...

a 400 horsepower electric motor = really big, really heavy - not efficient...

Also take a look at the voulme of air your motor moves per second, its WAY more than you think... you need something that supply even MORE air than that to be effective...

I've always thought about that, why not just have a big electric motor that doesn't rob your engine of power just to make more. But like said above, the motor would be too heavy, too big, and take a lot more electrical juice than your alternator could provide.
