TRXUS MT vs. BAJA MTZ

They look like theyd be great in mud, but the treads arent deep enough or widely enough spaced and dont have a digital breakup design thus they dont seem like theyd be good in mud. I used to think they would be but most people told me otherwise.

You have the SS Trxus MTs? I've heard the BFG AT and MT are similar in terms of noise on the road...

I have the MT's. The BFG AT's aren't near as noisy as the TrXus. JIM.

i was refering to the bfg at vs. bfg mt.... whos louder in BFG MT versus TRXUS MT?

I have a set of 33" Trxus MT's and they took quite a bit of wieght to balance, they are a heavy tire. I was very surprized how quiet they are. When I first put them on I could roll the windows down and they were as quiet as an AT, although now that they are more woren they have gotten louder but I would say no more than the BFG MT.

Mine are on my DD and have around 12,000 on them with about 75% tread

These have been very good in snow, mud, and rock.

you should check out the cooper stt's they are almost identical in tread to the baja mtz's but are usually cheaper. i had them on a 4runner and loved them. not to loud on the road and tough as could be

yea but theyre coopers, if they were cheaper significantly i would otherwise they dont really offer much difference. its like paying $250 for uniroyals that look like tsl's.

Every tire, even my friends 32" LTBs are quiet when you first put them on, so that doesnt mean shi*. Most likely ill go for the TRXUS MTs since theyre a lil different and theyre siped. I dont thikn balancing is gonna be a problem b/c im just gonna run them with airsoft BBs in them.
