Rocks:
Mud:
Tread life:

Im guessing the swamper wins in mud but im leaning more towards hte mtz in rocks. both have pretty soft tread so which would last longer? The price is about the same.

i dont kow about actual benefits but the swampers look way cooler

anyone got any info on tread life or rock/mud performance? I defintly like the look of the trxus, and ive also heard theyre great in snow. Im in the south and we dont get much of that though :(

I had about 45k on my 31's when I sold them. I have 40K on the 33's. Keeping them balanced & rotated is the key to a longer life. The 33's have are now trail only tires due to a sidewall bulge on one(spare) & the fact that the BFG AT's are much better on road. JIM.

You have the SS Trxus MTs? I've heard the BFG AT and MT are similar in terms of noise on the road...

heres some prices according to OK4WD.com.... i added a few that im still considering. These are for the 35 but the prices are pretty much proportional.

TRXUS MT: $200.95
Baja MTZ: $205.95
BFG M/T KM: $174.95

Baja MTZ is a failure, crap in all aspects from what ive heard.

TrXus are awsome. I had a set of 33's. Like stated before, awsome in the rain/snow/wet. Also great in the rocks and dirt. Never had a problem with them. Loved em'

I would also recommend Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. Thats what i moved to.

If you search on either of these tires you'll get lots of opinions on them. They've been discussed many times.

the baja claws are a tad on the expensive side for me, not by much but i need a tire that does good on the street and mud as well, and claws arent a mud tire. Also they howl like a train.

Id give up those for better performance... But to each his own.

well mine sees a lot of street time, its not exaclty a rock crawler thats why i dont want to use them for my application, otherwise id def consider them. ill have to look into the mtz's to see why theyre bad.

How many miles did you get out of them?I curently have a set of 34" LTB's and on the road they wear like a 3rd graders pencil eraser!!!

LTBs are not for the road, yeah im not suprised they wore easily.

They are actually still on my roommates LJ, they probably have a good 30K on them and they still have about 40% tread left.

i know when i ran the trXus mts i ahd a hard time keeping them balanced, eventually got rid of them and bought the dirt grip by parnelli jones

^^ Those are awsome tires. My cousin has a set of 35s and loves them. They are a sweet but expensive.
