Trxus MT vs. Baja Claw radial

My problem with the Trxus is they are horrible on road. They won't balance, and i dont want to put bb in the wheels. At 50mph the entire car just shakes. How are the Claw bias on road? I know they are loud but how is the balance of the tire? Does the tire cause the vehicle to shake a lot?
(?) The Trxuses are the quietest tires I've ever owned (and I've owned quite a few) and they are just about the best "do it all" tire out there. The Claws don't offer very good latteral traction compared to the TrXuses (ie. straddling a v-notch, where you're relying on the sidewalls to keep you from sliding on you're side and damaging that expensive body panel) the Claws' chevrons seem to tend to slip more. But, hey, it's you're money (and body panels)-------Hans

Re: Trxus MT vs. Mickey Thopmson MTZ

Ok it looks like the claws get horrible wear. Like i stated before i want something with equivilent wear of the trxus but without all the balancing issues. (airsoft pellets just dont seem good enough for me. I also dont want to hear the beads at slow speeds) Anyone use the Mickey Thompson MTZ? It seems like a comparable tire to the Trxus, as far as off road performance and overal longevity. Let me know, thanks.
Claws are the worst wearing tire I have ever had. I've had 3 sets of swampers and 2 sets of BFGs and some wildcats. Swamper Bias ply have been the best wearing, but they are hard to balance and ride like bricks. I'm about to go to 35" BFG MTs this week, because I'm getting a deal on a almost new set for $ 450. I like swamper the best by far though. Good tough tire if you get the right ones. Truxus and LTBs being the best. Regular TSL radials chunk bad.
