Use G.Earth and search for Salton City... N.Marina Dr. & Hwy. 86 or the 86S
Go west for the above intersection... the pavement will end and the rough graded road will go through a low saddle-back... straight ahead will be a flat area across the first wash... some camp there... you can continue across the wash and the "road" will sweep to the right behind some small hills... more camping... OR make a tight right and go up the first wash looking for the heard of XJs.
It'd be good to get up on one of the small mountains and look for a group of XJs... if you see none then go to another small mountain... if your arriving later in the day... all bets are off... you could be 100yrds. apart and miss each other...

Ok thanks man! I most likely will be showing up between 5-6 if i go, so hopefully you guys will be back at camp for dinner around then

John mentioned not being able to get out of the house till 1 pm. i have no specific time and can show up when ever. id like to get there early enough to play on the harder stuff.

thought about goin out fri pm, but won't get off work til around 1ish, then have to drive the 120 miles back home on sat, just to drive 400 miles sat nite. i too old for that shiite
