pfft, you don't need no stinkin' towbar....just weld one end of a chain to your tow hook and the other to her bumper....you'll be fine!!!! =P
EDIT: BTW, I may be riding along with someone if I don't get my break-in done on the gears in time....but either way, I'm showing up...so if someone has a free seat, I may be your beverage dispenser during the ride. =)

Hey, you gonna be home tomorrow? I may bring the heep by after John's house....if I even make it that far....alternator stopped registering anything tonight. Anywho, I figure if I can get to John's ok, I should be able to get over the mountain and close to your place. Of course, maybe I'll be lucky and it will start behaving again, but given my luck, I figure it might be a better idea to address this sooner rather than later.

Yep, that makes you a great dad… you’re doing what you need to do to keep your sketchy grip on sanity, just like I do! I spent Mom’s Day at Magic Mtn with a friend (no kids), my b’day wheeling in JV, left straight for the desert from the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner tables, and left NYE morning thru the weekend too (I got home about noon on the 3rd, my daughter’s bday). My kids have been invited on those desert trips, but I don’t cancel trips just because they don’t want to go—which is good, since they didn’t go on any of those!

You mean assuming I do wanna drive my rig (which I probably will). I’ll have an empty seat, though, unless I bring my 80lb puppydog. Gotta talk to the boss about if I can bring him to work on Friday… And even then, the seat’s free, it’ll just be partly occupied by a happy Rott/Shepherd mix. The seatbelt will be available =).
