not sure how much dremel cut off wheels are and how long they last i only use my dremel wheels for plastic and i bough ta ton of everything at once. But you can buy a ryobi angle grinder for $24-26 and get off brand cut off wheels for around $1.10. Might be worth it if you guys are considering useing a dremel.

i used the heavy duty reinforced cutoff disks with my dremel and used about 1.5 disks per front fender and only used 1 for both rear fenders

True, but silicone it before you push it on to the fender and you should be okay.

Yep, I used black silicon. 3 years now and no rust. I did paint them before I put the edge guard on.

Im heading down to advance to see what trim I can find there. I guess Ill see if they have black silicone or I will stop by home depot.

I used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel when I trimmed mine. No paint chipped at all.
