Tree sap remover?what to use?

Left my new ktm450 under the pine tree in my yard for a couple of days, well dumb move one hot day and it now has pine tree sap all over it, and worst of all on the seat, how the heck do you get this stuff off?? what dissolves it?? so pissed!! going to buy a patio tent tonight.

Kerosene or Gasoline. Just be careful, and you'll need to re-wax it if there was any on there to begin with.
Edit: Not being similar with KTM450s, is it on plastic? That would be a little harder to remove, and if its something like polyethylene or polystyrene don't use that as it'll dissolve it, then you've got more problems.

Paint thinner or a bug and sap remover from an auto parts store.
 
some of the above will work, but get messy, try and angle grinder with flapper wheel for more precise and gentle work.

or use a knife to get thick stuff off, and that GOO-GONE to get whats left
 
Baby seal blood works best. The fresher the better.

before you go out and buy anything, have you tried dawn dish soap? It gets all kinds of gunk of pans might work on sap also.
 
Gooo gone worked! thanks!! sap still stained the seat though
 
good ol' fashioned mayonaise, sounds rediculous but it works. just apply mayo and some elbow grease and sap comes right off.
