Travis' XJ Junk Sale - 8.25, intake manifold, etc.

I'm clearing out the garage. Most of this stuff came off my '98 unless otherwise stated. Some of it was given to me by the previous owner, so I don't know everything about it.

If the price is too high, make me an offer.

• Chrysler 8.25 rear end out of a 1998. Probably 3.55 or 3.73 ratio. Shock mounts were removed. Feel free to pull the cover and inspect it. - $175
• Intake manifold for 98 4.0. Fuel injectors are still in it, reported to work fine but probably high mileage. - $100
• Instrument cluster (idiot version) - $5
• Valve cover from a 2000 4.0 - $10
• Front exhaust mount from a 2000 XJ. On some years the bushing is not replacable and the dealer wants $100 for a whole new unit. I pulled this one from the yard but then couldn't find it when I had everything apart. Oh well. Bushing is good.- $15
• Sweet tape deck - 99 cents
• Sweet rear sway bar - 99 cents
• Factory rear drive shaft from a 4.0 auto. - $20
• Transfer case linkage - $10
• 5.7 Hemi engine from a 2007 Dodge Charger with transmission. - $2,000 OBO

The transfer case from hell has already been spoken for.

It should be a 29 spline since its from a 1998 XJ but you ought to open it up and verify before you take it home.

I'll take the rear driveshaft. Can you measure it from u-joint to u-joint please? I just want to be sure mine is the same, the previous owner didn't know much.

It should be a 29 spline since its from a 1998 XJ but you ought to open it up and verify before you take it home.

Ok I might be able to run by Fullerton and open it up this weekend, but if somone else gets to it before then don't bother holding it for me.

The rear drive shaft is 28 inches from the center of the u-joint to u-joint and 33.5 inches from u-joint to the end of the splines.

Yes, it worked when I removed it.

I got rid of the tape deck and the motor. The driveshaft is pending pickup.
