i have an 86 with the 2.8 L v6. what transmission came with this. i assume its the AW4 because its auto but am i making a mistake?

It's not the AW4; that was behind the 4.0 (and the rare 2.5 as well). I think you have the Torqueflight 904 three-speed.rckclmbr said:
